Needs Analysis

Haven OH Services help you build your policy by conducting a ‘needs analysis’ from information you provide us, regarding your process and employees. This allows us to present you with a quotation of your legislative responsibilities or needs covering workplace risks and hazards, job role risks and hazards and legislative compliance.

Upon the outcome of the analysis we may recommend:-

Employee Screening (prior to commencing the job) – a confidential questionnaire or telephone assessment establishing whether your employee is suitable for a job role and identifying any workplace adjustments that may be required. We may also recommend a baseline health surveillance.

Health Surveillance – a confidential consultation to establish the fitness of the employee for their job role, identify any health risks in the workplace and to help you, the employer, put appropriate control measures into place.

Depending on your business, industry sector and job roles, it is necessary to undertake regular Health Surveillance for your employees. Further information can be found in the HSE publication HSG61 or click Industries on the menu at the side of this page.

The consultation may include (this is not an extensive list as some tests are appropriate to specific industries)

Haven OH Services will advise on the outcomes of the confidential health surveillance. They can assist with any employee or management training and offer guidance on appropriate control measures (e.g. Personal Protective Equipment) should they be required.
